Napa Valley

The Napa Valley name is synonymous with the world’s finest wines. Despite its international renown, Napa Valley is one of the smallest wine-growing regions in the world, with only one-sixth of the planted acreage of Bordeaux. Though just 30 miles long and only 5 miles across at its widest point, Napa Valley is home to diverse microclimates and soils uniquely suited to the cultivation of a variety of fine wine grapes.

Napa Valley was declared California’s first American Viticultural Area or AVA in 1981 and comes with the ideal climate for growing fine wine grapes and some of the greatest soil diversity of any wine region in the world. Innovative, quality-driven wines are Napa Valley’s hallmark, and its vintners are recognized as leaders in viticultural innovation. Most wineries make less than 10,000 cases per year, and 95 percent are family-owned. In total, there are approximately 475 physical wineries in Napa Valley.

Among the internationally acclaimed wines produced in this small region are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Franc. Explore Napa wines today or come visit us soon: www.napavalley.wine
